Sooo, life is happening. Not all too much of it, since a lot of life is overwhelming, but… you know… working, occasionally meeting friends, trying to engage in some activist stuff or other (current government delivers as many reasons to protest as expected), doing household chores, trying to eat healthy, trying to do sports, getting enough healthy sleep… no one would be able to fit all of that into just one human lifetime, so one week it’s more of one, the next less of the other.
Update in short:
- No matter how often I started cutting my intake, I fell off the wagon and ate enough in a few days to overcompensate for the successful diet-days -> kept gaining. So now I decided to stop counting calories, just focus on finding additional de-stressing strategies to eating; try to not eat like a pig; stay active
- Long hair sucks. It’s always in my face. Gotta go back to my favorite „angry hedgehog“-look – too short to get single hairs stuck in my EYES goddammit.
- Right now: waiting for my take on a vegan sheperd’s pie to be done. I’m sooooooooo hungry and it tastes delicious. It was a challenge not to spoon up the mashed potatoes while waiting for the lentils to be done though… mhmmm, mashed potatoes.
